A Cumberland County deputy reportedly observed a vehicle this past Sunday parked at Pleasant Hill Market with a woman inside acting nervous. Officers say 42-year-old Arica Anne Spriggle of Crossville appeared to be under the influence of drugs. She reportedly turned over to officers a substance in a clear bag, all in the presence of her 2-year-old grandchild in a car seat in the vehicle. Spriggle was arrested and charged with simple possession of a Schedule II drug and simple possession of drugs.
