WOMAN ATTEMPTED TO WALK OUT OF FOOD CITY WITHOUT PAYING

CROSSVILLE, TN- On Wednesday, June 8, a woman tried to push a cart full of items out of Food City after only paying $13. Shannon Blair, 41, was confronted by officers and she allowed them to search. Blair had taken $100-$150 worth of items including two toothbrushes visibly sticking out of her pocket. She returned all the items to the grocery store. Food City did not press theft charges.

However, she did have a warrant out for her arrest for failure to appear. Upon a search, they found 6 pills that were not prescribed to her.
