WOMAN ELETROCUTED AT PUTNAM COUNTY BUSINESS
A woman was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville after being electrocuted at a Putnam County business yesterday. Medical first responders and authorities responded to American Sand on Monterey Highway after a dump truck raised its payload bed and reportedly hit power lines. Officers say the driver, 49-year-old Kellie Edington of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, got out of the vehicle to check for damage and came into contact with the current knocking her down and out. A air ambulance landed at a ballfield in Monterey to transport Edington. Her condition was not available by Vanderbilt Hospital officials.
