A Cumberland County woman was arrested after being found on a roadway. According to the incident report, deputies responded to the 3700^th block of Highway 68 where they say an intoxicated 43-year-old Christina Marie Westervelt of Crossville was injured. According to the report, Westervelt stopped her vehicle in the road, opened the door and fell out of the vehicle resulting in her landing on the road. A motorists nearly hit Westervelt as she was on the road. The motorists stopped and called 911 to get help. Westervelt was transported to Cumberland Medical Center for treatment then taken to jail charged with DUI. Westervelt was one of several DUI arrests made by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department in the past week.
