Officers say a 19-year-old woman died as a result of a vehicle crash in Blount County last night. Authorities say Lindy M. Wright passed away early this morning at U.T. Medical Center from injuries sustained. Investigators say the crash happened on Mint Road near Carpenters Grade Road. Wright was traveling north in a 2005 Honda Civic when she lost control of the car in a curve and struck an embankment. Wright was ejected when it rolled over.
