A man and woman have been taken into custody in Anderson County in connection to a shooting which took place Saturday night in Claxton. Authorities say that two people were shot at a residence on Clinton Highway. Officers were dispatched around 5:30 PM to the bread Box Market on Edgemoore Road where they found a victim, who was originally shot at the home on Clinton Highway. When deputies went to that location, they found a second person who was shot. Both victims were taken by Anderson Co EMS to UT Medical Center where they were treated for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The names of the suspects are being withheld at this time.
