Sunday evening, Crossville police were called to North Street, in the area of Dunbar Avenue, for a report of a woman outside, screaming.

They found 50-year-old Sherry Lynn Smith of Crossville on her front porch, screaming and cussing. Officers watched her carry on for a few minutes; they reported she was “making unreasonable noise that served no legitimate purpose.”

The police report states Smith had been issued a warning earlier that evening for the same offense. Officers took her into custody for disorderly conduct.
