Cumberland County deputies responded to a single vehicle accident yesterday in the area of Highway 70 West and Pomona Road. Officers arrived to see a Chevy truck that traveled over an embankment with a female in the driver’s seat. A field sobriety test was administered to 38-year-old Amelia Ann Smith of Crossville which she reportedly failed. Smith was charged with DUI and transported to jail.
