The Harriman City Council learned this week the former police department building off of Pansy Hill Road may be the new home for a senior center for Roane County. Mayor Wayne Best stated they are hopeful to enter into an official agreement with the Mid-East Community Program regarding the plan. Details will not be made public until next month when the council will get a chance to review and possibly approve the lease.
