MAN ARRESTED IN ROCKWOOD ON SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF A MINOR CHARGES RELEASED; CASE REMAINS ACTIVE
A Rockwood man has been released on a $50,000 bond following his arrest last week on charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor. According to the Rockwood Police Department, 61-year-old Guy Russell Pawley was taken into custody on June 12th after local authorities launched an investigation into his conduct.
The police probe was initially triggered by a social media post and video circulating online, which alleged that a sexual predator was living in Rockwood and working at a local Walmart, while calling for immediate law enforcement action. Following Pawley’s arrest and subsequent release on bail, authorities noted that the case remains active and updates will be provided as more information becomes available. In accordance with the law, Pawley is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
