Richard Lee Todd Snyder is slated to appear in the Cumberland County General Sessions Criminal Court on Thursday, August 27, 2026, facing felony charges stemming from a January burglary.

According to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office reports, deputies responded to a burglary in progress on Big Horn Drive late on the night of January 27, 2026. A property executor monitoring live security footage spotted a suspect kicking in a crawl space door and entering the unoccupied home, which belonged to an estate.

Deputies Holden Atkinson and Curry arrived on the scene within minutes. Upon clearing the crawl space, officers discovered Snyder alongside co-defendant Donnie James Rector Jr., 48, hiding in the rear.

While the suspects claimed they entered the residence simply “to stay warm,” officers noted physical evidence of forced entry, including a muddy boot print on the shattered door frame.
