The Tennessee Department of Transportation worker who was struck by a car on I-40 on Christmas Eve has died from his injuries. James “JR” Rogers was helping a family change a tire in the Hermitage area when he was hit by a car driven by Dennis Castellanos-Moreno. Rogers died from his injuries on Wednesday night. Castellanos-Moreno, is charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and failure to use due care. Additional charges may be pending due to Roger’s death.
