Special Agents with the TBI are looking into the discovery of the body of a missing man in Monroe County earlier this week. The bureau was asked to assist the county Sheriff’s Office and District Attorney in after the body of 46-year-old Charles Ray Taylor was discovered in a wooded area off Griffith Branch Road in Madisonville. The case has been determined a homicide. Taylor was reported missing on Dec. 19. A property owner found the body and immediately notified authorities.
