AGGRAVATED BURGLARY IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY FRIDAY

Deputies in Cumberland County responded to an aggravated home burglary on Lawson Road Friday. The homeowner said a suspect, believed to be a woman living in a camper behind the home, entered the home and stole a flat-screen TV, collector dolls, a DVD player, assorted makeup and Social Security information. The television is a rental item from Aaron’s, on which the homeowner still owes payments. The dolls are valued at approximately $3,000.

Deputies noticed no damage to the front and side doors, which were the suspected entry or exit points.

The homeowner said she suspects the woman in the camper because she owns a dog and she found dog feces scattered around the inside of the home.

There are no additional suspects at this time, and an investigation is ongoing.
