ARREST MADE IN CONNECTION WITH PUTNAM COUNTY ARSONS

Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a series of fires in Putnam County that were suspicious in nature. 21-year-old Micah N. Kreischer of Cookeville was arrested Friday and charged with seven counts of arson. He joins at least three others in the region who have been charged with like-crimes. 18-year-old Austin Miller and 50-year-old Charles Edward Martin are charged with setting fires in Monroe County while 21-year-old Mathew Ryan Wallace is charged with arson in Sequatchie County.
