ARREST MADE IN HARRIMAN HOME INVASION CASE
An arrest has been made in a Harriman home invasion that took place last Saturday that left a woman injured. According to the arrest report, authorities recovered a vehicle stolen from the home invasion late last night (October 30, 2017) and got information on the whereabouts of a suspect. Roane County deputies, along with Rockwood and Kingston police officers, went to a South Kingston Avenue residence in Rockwood just after 2 this morning (Tuesday, October 31, 2017). Officers found 19-year-old Jordan Taylor Crabtree of Rockwood at the home. A consent search of the bedroom Crabtree was staying in allegedly revealed a firearm, a backpack and several small individual bags of a crystal substance and pills. Crabtree was charged with two counts each of theft of property, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and one count each of theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated burglary, vandalism and introducing contraband into a penal institution. Crabtree is initially being held without bond in the Roane County jail.
