Harriman police and medics responded this morning to the entrance of Cracker Barrel on Highway 27 where a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle.

Authorities say the bicyclist is in his early sixties.

No further information was initially available.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

The bicyclist was transported to Roane Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
