Oakland High School in Murfreesboro will be closed on Friday after receiving a bomb threat. School officials said the bomb threat was called in Friday morning. Administrators said they had no choice but to close the school instead of having students stay outside for several hours. School buses are returning students to their homes. The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.
