BREAKING NEWS – At its emergency meeting that concluded minutes ago, the Roane County Board of Education accepted the letter of resignation from Dr. Leah Watkins and has named Gary Aytes the interim director of schools. Watkins turned in her letter of resignation after accepting a director of schools position in Obion County this week.
