BYRAMS FORK ROAD IN ANDERSON COUNTY REOPENS AFTER SINKHOLE APPEARS
Officials said an Anderson County Road has reopened Thursday after a sinkhole. According to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, the sinkhole on Byrams Fork Road opened after a washout from rain water. The collapse happened about three-fourths of a mile from Hickory Valley Road in Anderson County. The Sheriff’s Department said the Anderson County Highway Department made repairs to the section of the road impacted by the sinkhole. ACSO said no one was injured as a result of the sinkhole.
