CASES OF THE FLU ALREADY REPORTED IN TENNESSEE AND KENTUCKY

Confirmed cases of the flu are already showing up in Tennessee and Kentucky and it can take some time for a flu vaccination to take full effect. Health officials are now advising citizens to get a flu vaccination. While experts say it is a good idea for most people to get a flu shot, some groups are highly recommended for vaccination, including women who are or may become pregnant, the elderly, children, and those who work in care facilities or medical facilities. Officials say you should contact your physician, pharmacy or health department soon about getting vaccinated for the upcoming flu season.
