A person was arrested following a fatal vehicle accident on Highway 411 in Loudon County yesterday. Troopers say a 1994 Lexus driven by 38-year-old Patricia R. Colvard of Richmond, Texas swerved off the road and hit a parked 1996 Ford pickup. A pedestrian, identified as 43-year-old Perry Lance Jr. of Madisonville, was standing in front of his parked truck when he was hit. Colvard was charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, DUI, and two drug offenses. Colvard and a passenger in her car, 31-year-old Krystal Abston of Madisonville, both sustained injuries in the crash.
