Corbin Alay Lewis, Sr., age 85, of Sparta, Tennessee passed away April 24, 2017. He was born March 24, 1932 in Cumberland County, Tennessee the son of Dale and Maude Morgan Lewis. He was retired from the rock quarry business and was also a member of the Old Fashioned Independent Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife- Frances Lewis of Sparta, TN, son- Mark Lewis and his wife Katie of Sparta, TN, daughters- Sally Sanders and her husband Wayne of Hartsville, TN, Patricia Lewis of Crossville, TN and Charlotte Barnes and her husband Greg of Crossville, TN, stepdaughter- Helen Caruthers and her husband Owen of Crossville, TN, brothers- Roger, Ronnie, Carson and Joe, sisters- Mary Ellen, Jean and Pat, eleven grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, 21 step great grandchildren and several step great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday April 27, 2017 at 1pm from the Chapel of Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Smith’s Chapel Cemetery.
