CROSSVILLE CHURCH PLANNING MISSION TRIP TO HONDURAS

A local church is preparing for a mission trip to Honduras this summer. A team of 30 volunteers from Lantana Road Baptist Church in Crossville plans to be in villages in Honduras from July 20th to July 27th. People in need in the republic in Central America will be given medical attention and be ministered to from the volunteers. Each volunteer that will go on the trip needs to raise $1,100 to cover their cost. Any money raised above the $33,000 total needed for the trip will be used to buy needed supplies for the village ministries in Honduras.

One of the volunteers planning to participate in the trip is Karon Wyatt, granddaughter of former Fentress County Executive John B. Mullinix.

Any questions about the trip or to arrange to donate, call Pastor Scott Johnson at Lantana Road Baptist Church at (931) 788-2844.
