CROSSVILLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL-CALLED MEETING ANNOUNCED
The Crossville City Council will hold a special-called meeting Friday afternoon. The council discussed having the special-called last Thursday during the September monthly meeting when the subject of looking at requests for qualifications came up concerning a proposed splash pad at Centennial Park. After several minutes of discussing council member’s schedule conflicts, particularly the fact that Council Member Pete Souza would be out of town the entire weekend, the meeting was set for Monday Sept. 19th. An email was sent out Wednesday morning that the meeting had been moved up to Friday, Sept. 16 at 5 PM. Later, another notice was received stating that the time for the meeting had been rescheduled for 12 Noon. The meeting will be held at City Hall.
