Members of the Crossville Fire & Rescue Department participated in the 8th Annual Nashville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb yesterday (Sunday, September 10, 2017) at the William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower in Nashville. Crossville fire and rescue personnel were joined by over 300 firefighters from across the region to climb 110 stories in remembrance of the 343 New York City firefighters that died 16 years ago at the twin towers. Each team climbed 28 stories four times to complete 110 stories. Each member carried the name and picture of a New York City firefighter that paid the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11.
