CROSSVILLE POLICE LOOKING INTO SEVERAL AUTO BURGLARIES

Crossville Police have been investigating a series of vehicle break-ins over the last few days. Last Thursday, officers were called to Stubb’s Medical Center where a patient reported that her 2016 Jeep Patriot had the passenger side window busted and her wallet stolen. That same day a customer at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant had her 2011 Mercedes broken into while she was eating lunch. The vehicle’s passenger side window had been broken to gain entry and the victim’s purse and Notebook were stolen. Sunday, a Pikeville resident who had his 2001 Chevy Blazer parked at Rick’s Reliable Transmission reported the theft of a Kenwood Stereo and twin speakers from the vehicle. That theft was believed to have occurred within the last two weeks.
