CROSSVILLE POLICE MAJOR MARK ROSSER RETIRING AFTER NEARLY 30 YEARS ON FORCE
A staple of the Crossville Police Department is retiring. Major Mark Rosser will be leaving the department on August 1. Major Rosser started as a patrol officer with the city in 1988. He has worn many hats while with the city including being a K-9 Officer, firearms instructor, and detective. He then became a captain and is currently a major. He also served a stint as chief of police for 7 months. Rosser told 1057 News that “the City has been very good to me and he has enjoyed working here. Rosser plans to stay in law enforcement: He will be taking a job as captain on the Fairfield Glade Police Force.
