Two people have died in a firey crash in Marion County which closed down a portion of Interstate 24 earlier Friday. Four vehicles were involved in the wreck which occurred when a commercial vehicle traveling east crossed the median into oncoming traffic around 2 AM. It struck a vehicle head-on with one of the vehicles bursting into flames and continuing onward the wrong way resulting in two other vehicles being struck. The resulting crash closed down westbound lanes of the interstate. One lane has since re-opened. The crash victims have not been identified.
