DRIER AND COOLER
Many areas picked up a couple inches of rain on Tuesday and wasn’t that lightning intense ? Partly cloudy and cool weather in the forecast now for the remainder of the week and the weekend, afternoon high temperatures only in the upper 60s to near 70 and then dropping into the 40s at night with a possible record low by Thursday morning in the low 40s. If we are going to get any effects from Irma it probably would not be before Tuesday and it very well may make a curve to the north and miss most of the Tennessee completely but we will know more over the next couple of days as well as where the final landfall will occur. Irma is the strongest hurricane ever in the Atlantic and is going to devastate the northern Leeward Islands tonight. It will probably Wipeout the island of Barbuda as it moves directly over them with wind gusts over 200 miles an hour.
