Putnam County authorities have issued an endangered child alert for a a 3-year-old child allegedly taken by his mother.

Authorities say Samuel Marson Papacsi was reportedly taken by his mother, 25-year-old Kathy Papacsi. According to officials, the Department of Children Services has petitioned for emergency custody of the child.

Samuel Papacsi was describes as weighing 26 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say Papacsi is possibly driving a 1995 white four-door Mercedes with Tennessee license plate number X0234B. She was possibly heading to Florida.
