The only non-stop flights between Tennessee and Europe launched yesterday (May 4, 2018), with British Airways starting flying between Nashville and London. To recognize the new route, British Airways has launched a special Nashville to London round-trip fare for $855, which includes all taxes, fees and carrier charges. Great fares will also be available on round-trip fares from Nashville via London to a range of European destinations. The special fare is available for purchase from now (May 5, 2018) through May 19, 2018, for travel between August 13, 2018, and December 31, 2018, in the airline’s economy cabin. Customers may also opt to cut the cost of flights by using Avios in part payment, and may choose from a range of savings, starting from just 3,000 Avios to reduce their ticket by $39 in World Traveller. The flight will operate five days a week on one of the newest aircraft in British Airways’ fleet, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. The new route will become the 26^th city in the U.S. to which British Airways flies, and from this summer British Airways and American Airlines will operate up to 67 daily flights, as part of their transatlantic joint business.
