FORMER STAR TREK STAR HAS “INDECENT EXPOSURE” CHARGES DROPPED

A resident of Roane County and a former actress on “Star Trek: Voyager” has had indecent exposure charges dropped. In September of 2015, actress Jennifer Ann Lien, who played the character “Kes” on the television series, was arrested and charged with exposing herself to children under the age of 13 after she complained to their mother that they were crying too loudly as she walked by the home. When deputies arrived at her home to serve a warrant, Lien was allegedly sitting on her couch nude and reportedly refused to get dressed until a female deputy arrived. She had to be carried to a patrol car. Monday charges were dropped after Lien paid restitution.
