FOUR ARRESTED ON DRUG RELATED CHARGES

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department is turning up the heat on individuals using illegal drugs. According to the arrest reports, deputies took 31-year-old Tommy Edward Faircloth Jr. of Crossville into custody early this week after a traffic stop off of Myrtle Avenue. A consent search reportedly revealed two small bags of meth. Faircloth was charged with the manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs and simple possession of drugs. In another case, officers went to 107 Darrell Avenue this past Monday to a home they say is known for having drug offenders present. An outstanding warrant was served on 45-year-old Paula Leigh Cornell of Crossville and a consent search of the home reportedly revealed bags of meth, pills and a digital scale. Cornell was charged with the manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a legend drug. Deputies went back to the home the next day and found 44-year-old Larry Glen Reed of Crossville who was wanted in White County. Reed was charged with possession of a Schedule II drug and drug paraphernalia. Also arrested with Reed was 38-year-old Eric Wayne Parsons of Crossville for the manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs. All four were taken to the Cumberland County jail.
