District Attorney General Russell Johnson says 41-year-old Rodney Lowery and 39-year-old Danny Gouge, Jr. took a plea deal in connection with an insurance fraud case in Roane County. TBI agents determined Lowery falsely reported the theft of an off-road vehicle to an insurance company. Authorities also identified Gouge, Jr. who supposedly falsified a bill of sale to support the scheme. Gouge received 1 year on probation while Lowery got 3 years on probation.
