GOV. HASLAM WON’T RULE OUT POSSIBLE RUN FOR U.S. SENATE
Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam told reporters Wednesday that he would not rule out a run for the U.S. Senate after his last term in office. The governor cannot seek a re-election bid in 2018 because of term limits. He also said that it’s not something that he has had his mind on since he’s been looking at other things lately such as his IMPACT transportation proposal and the state’s budget. The governor’s comments were made at the Tennessee Press Association Luncheon.
