HOT WEATHER COMING
We are going to be seeing hotter temperatures and lower rain chances from Thursday through Sunday. Afternoon highs will range from the low to mid 80s on Thursday to the upper 80s on Friday and near 90° this weekend. Crossville picked up almost a half inch of rain on Wednesday while no rain was recorded officially in Knoxville at McGhee Tyson Airport. Any showers that pop up after Thursday will be very isolated and mainly in the southern locations of our listening area. Summer begins next week so it is heating up right on schedule. The national high temperature on Wednesday was 119 at Death Valley California and the low was 25 at West Yellowstone Montana.
