During this month (October 2017), the Oliver Springs Fire Department will be conducting their annual hydrant testing. They conduct the tests to avoid issues with the water system during emergencies. Residents of Oliver Springs may notice a slight discoloration in their home water if officials test the hydrants. If this occurs, officials say run the water for a few minutes and the water should return to normal. If this does not occur, contact the water department at (865) 435-7722 Extension 1.
