The people of Sevier County, particularly Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, are in the hearts and minds of all Tennesseans. As numerous residents of the area have been displaced and firefighters and emergency personnel work around the clock, citizens are sending donations from all over. Some items needed include water, sports drinks, snacks of all kinds, and first aid supplies, particularly burn cream, gauze, band aids, eye, wash, medical tape and lip balm. Shelters need Diapers, warm clothing of all sizes, hygiene products, water, snacks, and dog food. If you would like to donate any of these items contact your local rescue squads, police departments, or fire departments.
