JOSE CHARGED WITH THEFT OF VEHICLE IN CROSSVILLE

Crossville police responded Friday night to a home on East Adams Street for a vehicle theft. The owner told officers she left her keys in the car and when she went to get them, the Chevy Equinox was gone. The automobile would later be involved in an accident on Peavine Road. The driver was identified as 29-year-old Miguel Jose of Crossville. Jose was charged with theft of property, DUI and driving without a license. A hold was also placed on Jose by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
