Cumberland County deputies recently responded to a Glade Creek Road residence to a disturbance. According to the arrest report, a female victim locked herself in a vehicle after being attacked by 42-year-old Steven Randall Presley of Sparta. Once the sheriff’s cruiser pulled into the driveway, the victim got out and ran towards officers with Presley reportedly chasing her. He stopped when he saw the officers. Presley was arrested for domestic assault and violation of bond conditions since he just got out of jail for attacking the same victim. Presley was transported to the Cumberland County jail.
