A White County man is facing charges including aggravated rape stemming from two incidents earlier this month. Officers say 37-year-old Joey Albert Maracle of Sparta was arrested on additional charges of aggravated assault, domestic assault, and false imprisonment. Officers say during one of the incidents, Maracle reportedly ripped the victim’s clothes and allegedly raped the victim using several objects. Maracle reportedly got mad at the victim because blood was everywhere and made the victim go into a bathroom where she then reportedly fainted. When she regained consciousness, Maracle reportedly was sitting in the bathroom with a firearm pointed at the victim, allegedly threatening to shoot her. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for her injuries. Maracle was taken to the White County jail and initially placed under a $50,000 bond.
