MAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP
Rockwood police pulled over a black Ford Expedition early yesterday morning (Tuesday, November 7, 2017) traveling on Wilder Avenue in an erratic manner. Officers ran the registration that came back to a different vehicle. Officers asked the driver, 47-year-old Timothy Joe Taylor of Rockwood, for his insurance and registration which he did not have. A consent search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a bag with meth residue in it and another bag containing meth and pills. A search of Taylor allegedly produced a bag containing over 16 grams of meth. Taylor was arrested on numerous drug charges and transported to the Roane County jail.
