A Putnam County man has pleaded guilty and waived his right to trial on two counts of rape of a child. Court officials say 26-year-old Jonathan William Seals of Cookeville will serve at least four years of a 13-year prison sentence. He will also be required to register as a sex offender under lifetime supervision. Court documents indicate that he could have served 15 to 60 years in prison.
