A massive new commercial development is on the horizon for Crossville, promising to significantly reshape the local retail landscape. Developer Pan American is spearheading a project to construct an extremely large-scale power retail center—essentially a massive strip mall similar to Woodmere but on a much grander scale—boasting an impressive 190,000 square feet of retail space.

This sprawling complex is slated for the 18-acre parcel of land situated directly behind Starbucks and Advance Auto Parts on Genesis Road. A true passion project for local officials, this development has been quietly and rigorously worked on for a long time by city staff and the mayor, who anticipate it “will be huge for the community” in terms of economic growth and shopping options.

The ambitious plans are finally stepping into the public eye, with the site set to be officially reviewed tomorrow at noon by the Crossville Regional Planning Commission.

A press release will be put out by the city in the future with all store names once state approval is obtained.

A map has been circulating online that seems to show what will be coming to this complex, however, that map has been debunked as an unofficial speculation map. A hypothetical meant to draw the attention of potential investors.
