OLIVER SPRINGS H.S. STUDENT TEACHER INDICTED ON INAPPROPRIATE CONTACT CHARGE
Another Roane County School employee has been cast in a bad light. 31-year-old Travis Lee Tucker, a student teacher at Oliver Springs High School, was taken into custody after being indicted by the Grand Jury on two counts of inappropriate contact with a 17-year-old by email. The allegations were brought to the attention of authorities last year after school Principal Justin Nivens contacted police. Tucker is the fourth person named recently that has been involved with criminal activity while employed with the school system.
