OLIVER SPRINGS MAN FACES MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY DRUG CHARGES
An Oliver Springs man faces drug charges after a vehicle he was riding in was stopped by Roane County Deputies. Saturday afternoon, a Chevy Silverado was stopped on N. Kentucky St for a registration violation. A passenger in the car appeared very nervous and his pupils were extremely dilated. The passenger, identified as 29-year-old Joseph Brett Hendrickson, was asked to exit the vehicle, and a check of a backpack located near him revealed six prescription bottles of methadone tablets, five full and one open. Hendrickson also had a prescription bottle in his shirt pocket that held a liquid colored similar to the pills along with a syringe cap. He was charged with manufacture, delivery, sale of a controlled substance and criminal impersonation.
