OUT-OF-TOWN WORK TRUCK STOLEN FROM CROSSVILLE MOTEL

Crossville Police are looking into another vehicle theft. The incident occurred at the Red Roof Inn where a subject had been staying to do work in the area. A white 2004 Ford XLT F-150 truck with Alabama tags, one of three work trucks parked at the motel, was reportedly stolen sometime between Monday and Tuesday. The owner said that the truck was carrying construction tools. Loss was estimated at $7000. A video from Monday morning revealed a white Ford Ranger with no visible registration, pull into the parking lot. Then two male subjects wearing dark clothing, hoodies and ball caps begin to check doors on the trucks. A video from Tuesday then shows the same Ford Ranger pull into the lot and the same two men get out. One man enters a truck, backs it out and drives off the lot heading south. The truck then circles the building exiting on the north side. The investigation is continuing.
