It took an Anderson County jury three hours to convict an Oak Ridge woman this week for the death of a motorcyclist. Noelle Leigh Patty, age 41, was found guilty of criminally negligent homicide of 44-year-old Rufus E. Shephard, III. Patty made an illegal turn off North Illinois Avenue and struck Shephard. Patty will be sentenced September 28, 2018.
