Crossville Police and Cumberland County Deputies briefly closed a section of Main Street near Cumberland Medical Center today due to a barricaded suspect. According to the TDOT SmartWay map, traffic has returned to normal.

Gary Howard, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Director of Community Services and Criminal Investigations, stated that Crossville authorities led the operation and will release a press statement tomorrow with further details.
